GPS Automated Controller

A Liquids Revolution-designed automatic liquid application controller that can regulate output using either pressure feedback or measured flow.

Developed and field-tested in-house by Liquids Revolution, this controller is built for professional liquid sprayer systems used for anti-icing, de-icing, dust control, and other precision liquid application work. One controller platform can be configured around the sprayer: use a pressure transducer where pressure-based control is preferred, or use a flowmeter where direct liquid-output measurement is required.

One Controller, Two Control Methods

The controller can be configured to operate in either of the following modes:

• Pressure control: Uses a pressure transducer as the system feedback source.
• Flow control: Uses flowmeter feedback to measure actual liquid output.

The correct feedback method is selected according to the pump, plumbing, nozzles, and intended application.

GPS-Based Automatic Rate Control

GPS ground-speed information allows the controller to automatically adjust liquid output as vehicle speed changes. This helps maintain a more consistent target application rate without requiring the operator to continually adjust the regulator valve.

Operator Interface

The controller creates its own local Wi-Fi connection for the in-cab tablet interface. The operator can access the main control, tank, setup, and diagnostic screens without relying on cellular service.

Built Around the Sprayer

This is not a universal plug-and-play box. Final configuration depends on the existing sprayer, pump, regulator valve, flowmeter or pressure sensor, boom-section valves, plumbing, electrical system, and intended application rates.
