Products & Usage

Each premix blends our X1 Additive into salt brine:
  • Premix 5: 5% X1 and 95% salt brine
  • Premix 10: 10% X1 and 90% salt brine
  • Premix 15: 15% X1 and 85% salt brine
Higher X1 levels improve performance at lower temperatures and help reduce refreeze.
X1 is our proprietary additive made with calcium chloride and corrosion inhibitors. Use it as a premix (ready to spray) or dose into your brine system per your application rates.
A liquid de-icer is a solution applied to roads, driveways, and walkways to prevent snow and ice from bonding. It works by lowering the freezing point of water, making it harder for ice to form. Liquids can be used before a storm (anti-icing) to stop buildup, or after plowing (de-icing) to melt remaining snow and ice. Compared to dry salt, liquids provide more even coverage, activate faster, and reduce overall salt usage.
Liquids should be stored in sealed tanks on a well‑compacted pad. Premixes have naturally low freeze points, so they do not require special treatment when left out in cold weather. They also remain stable if left over the summer months — because they are a solution, not a simple mixture. That means the components stay evenly blended without settling or separation.
When applied at recommended rates, our liquids include corrosion inhibitors that reduce impact on concrete and equipment versus dry salt. Always follow local guidelines and application rates.
